PhotonWarrior28A2 is a photo amplifier with USB interface.

The compact design as a 1/2" steel tube makes it compatible with most lab equipment. In front of the photo diode it has a SM05 thread to easily mount optical elements.

Connection is just via USB. Power supply and data transport both are done both over the USB. Data is transmitted at 1 kHz with 12 bit resolution. No external power source or A/D converter is necessary.

PhotonWarrior28A2 really means it with plug and play as it identifies to the computer as a joystick. This allows to run it with standard system drivers and access the data via the joystick API of the operating system.

Aplification can be set in 6 steps from 10^3 to 10^8.
